the 1st thing i will say is i absolutely love this album cover, it’s so aesthetically pleasing 2 me

this is not the sound i was expecting 2 hear from this band, like i’ve heard a few songs here & there over the years but this was a bit unexpected. i really like robert’s voice & delivery on here 4 the most part. very swaggy.

there’s a lot of teenage angst all over this album. it’s very moody & i found myself relating 2 a lot of songs on here.

i am not a fan of their cover of foxy lady, i quite honestly can’t even believe this is on the album. i was sitting there like “hmm i know this song!” & then it clicked.. & yeah, absolutely the f*** not. is that even robert singing? who the f*** is that?

i do not really like meathook all that much either i must say lol..

overall, besides a few blunders here & there i’d say this is an okay album. the songwriting is lacking a bit, u can definitely tell this is their debut album.. not 2 mention a debut album they had no creative control over. i’m operating under the assumption that they will be deviating from this sound on later records & leaning in2 more of a goth sound & i’m very excited 2 go on this journey.
