in my area the only imax theaters are in furniture stores

i saw Hateful 8 in 70mm but it wasn't imax 70mm it was just a really wide screen

Did it seem any different beside the big ass screen/ did it enhance the movie at all?

it was just pretty for wide shots. wasnt really much else to it but it was visually cool, especially in that movie which had cool landscape shots and then interior shots where like 2 of the main characters were in focus but 3 of the other main characters were in the background being sketchy.

and it was fun because it was at a performance theater (not a movie theater) and it was an extended version of the movie with an overture and intermission
