I think Invincible features some of his best R&B cuts (Butterflies, Heaven Can Wait, Break of Dawn) but the Pop songs are shaky. He could've easily got Pharrell and Timbaland on board to produce a masterpiece that would've surpassed Justified but maybe he was out of touch with what was currently going on in music.
