I remember my mom got my brother a scrat beanie baby after we saw one of the ice age movies when I was a kid, he always kept it on her dresser in her room

I love him a lot

and it wasn’t any acorn, it was a specific one. he could’ve forgotten all about it, but he didn’t. the chase had almost nothing to do with the taste of the acorn. if that was the case, he would’ve satisfied his hunger with a non-rollable snack.
