    this is so real man

the way we look at people from the 20s-60s with smoking is how our great grandchildren will look at us with social media and screen time/technology. The absolute insanity of it all.

Not surprised why so many zoomers have a plethora of issues whether it be mental, social, physical. Couldn't imagine from the age of like 11-12 seeing s*** on social media all the time selling you a false reality and dream

People actually lived life and had good experiences, bad experiences, tried new things and wanted to do things. All those biographies i've read over the years of people that grew up in the 60s-80s and their childhoods/teenage years is just unimaginable these days.

Social Media and the interconnectivity of the internet has turned everyone into recluse's, it's one of the reasons why people are having less s***these days in a lot of the western world. Also why the average age of marriage is going up, no one has any connections with real life people and it's pretty sad

Being in public, especially after the COVID era, has just not been that enjoyable. Everybody always with a bad attitude and no manners these days. It’s depressing

The long term effects of COVID and the pandemic are much more devastating then some people realize.

A lot of people are angry and bitter that 2 years of our lives were basically taken away from something that wasn’t even our faults. They just don’t care anymore.

the constant inundation of ads/materialism/product placement is insane too not even 6 years ago you'd get 1 ad at the end of a YT video or at the beginning. Now you get 2 at the start, 1 in the middle and 2 at the end plus pop up ads on the side bar. Everywhere you look you've got these rich classist a******s trying to get you to buy their products so that you feel like you're apart of something and powerful. World's f***ed man and we're so pessimistic these days no one even wants to try and change it as a whole

They really spent almost 2 years scaring the f*** out of us, especially the vulnerable, and then s*** just went back to normal with no national recognition for all the mental health issues caused or worsened

Yep and the worst part is COVID isn’t even eradicated.

It’s just we as a society couldn’t handle anymore of the lockdowns and restrictions and would’ve faced potential
collapse if we had kept going with it.

We had a 2 week window in the very beginning to get it under control and we fumbled it so badly it’s going to go into the history book.
