I feel like back in 2007 Wayne being considered the best alive was undebatable amongst almost everyone whereas with Drake you’ll get a good amount of opposition on that opinion.
Not saying he isn’t the best, but I do think it’s not as clear cut with everybody.
That's cause of the Internet u hear more nerd opinions cus it's easier to share

It was debatable. T.I., & Ye especially
50 was still relevant, Em, Jay still dropping albums
Exactly
Internet has completely blurred the lines
Mixtape culture back then was just so good,it helped define alot of rappers. Hearing Waynes raw vocals and delivery on those unmastered tapes, lerts you know he was the real deal(with many others). No ones doing that now, even Mixtapes are polished to hell

50s relevance was waning a bit by 07. His biggest years were 03-05
Eminem going into full blown addiction and Graduation beating Curtis sealed the deal

I hate how the site rewrites history like TI wasn’t as big as Ye and Wayne during that era even if TI’s words and actions as an oldhead have led to that

Pac the only rapper to come out even stronger
Wayne too
Pac the only rapper to come out even stronger
He didn’t come out stronger though. He was paranoid as hell and living on the mentality that he was going to die any second, which I’m sure takes its toll mentally.
Only reason he was recording so much music was because he wanted to make sure he had music for years to come that would outlive him.
