i dont believe theyve been remastered?? or atleast doesnt sound like it

    from steve hoffman forum:

"There is no perfect remaster series because the original tapes are not available anymore, and Stevie has never shown any interest in revisiting his old catalogue to do them right. The forum dislikes the regular CD remasters from 2000, mainly because they are extremely bright (shrill) sounding. I believe the major label comps and reissues (not the audiophile reissues) since then use the same remasters or suffer from similar issues. "

so apparently there were remasters but they were mid

ive never had any problem with the sound of his main 70s albums and thought they sound good tbh. but my versions arent those 2000 remasters and im not sure whats on streaming

It’s very annoying when people say “no worries” in response to “thank you”

My old job used to make us say “my pleasure” instead of “no problem”
I used to think it was stupid but I guess some people actually care about the difference

cant find one of the exact quotes now but something from Zappa about looking at the artist's work as a whole.

or at least the way he intended to connect all his own stuff:

"Think of the connecting material in the Project/Object this way: A novelist invents a character. If the character is a good one, he takes on a life of his own. Why should he get to go to only one party? He could pop up anytime in a future novel.

Or: Rembrandt got his 'look' by mixing just a little brown into every other color -- he didn't do 'red' unless it had brown in it. The brown itself wasn't especially fascinating, but the result of its obsessive inclusion was that 'look.''

yeah i really like this way of thinking, if you can find where he says this at or whatever i’d love to read it

oh, cuz spotify apparently has the 2000 remasters so i was gonna say thats why they might sound kinda mid?

not sure if theres a way to check for tidal. i can give you a sample of what I have if you want to compare

i checked and i have either audio fidelity cd from late 00s or japan shm cd from late 00s. probably just googled to see which CD was best and downloaded that one without thinking much about it

Why would I need to? I know both atheists and people that claim some religious code of morals can be the most evil or lovely people on the planet. Theres no one group that should have genocide wished upon them. Feel free to take it back so I can not think you're a psychopath.
