this is exactly the album i was expecting to hear. well-produced yet uninteresting pop songs with competent singing.

im comparing her to the entire genre and saying she doesnt provide anything special

that being said In The Dark got some slappin’ drums

i think her voice is more than above average

The album doesnt set out to do anything too original and maybe thats fine but as someone who already struggles to resonate with this genre

i love the art of crafting a perfect pop song. she has everything on lock when it comes to song structure, melodies, hooks, bridges, its pure candy in my ears
