I'm trying a new method of music consumption where I will download 3 albums a week and then then Spotify to offline mode so I will only be able to listen to those 3 albums
I feel as though this will make music listening feel more like when you would purchase CDs instead of feeling like an easily accessible massive collection of irlt
I think it will help me to appreciate the music a bit more

Back when you had to go and buy an album I feel as though you would have a deeper appreciation for it or at least you would be more likely to repeatedly listen to better establish your opinion (as you didn't want to feel as though you wasted your money)
Streaming is convenient, but it has turned music consumption into a weird like easily forgettable thing

streaming has done pretty much the same for me.. it's like pirating but legal, spent plenty of times with lil wayne mixtape zips

i struggled with the idea of getting a car without a CD player. this was about 5 years ago when i was car shopping. i wanted to stick with CD's because of i loved having a few discs in my car, and whatever one was in the stereo would just play on repeat right when i started the car without having to connect anything. similar to what bruises said.
ultimately i got a car with no CD player and I've adapted well to CarPlay and apple music. but that was a tough transition
Eh
I mean it takes more effort than streaming
But it still takes some of the value away
