Only reason it took 5 years was cuz of COVID and wanting to tour the album. He had a version of the album finished in 2020 and spent 2 years tinkering with it and adding new songs.
He been cooking since immediately after the release of Morale and if the snippets on his burner are any indication, he’s coming back to be all up in the mainstream again.
This would be nice, but I did appreciate the messages in morale a lot about not catering to the masses and such
I mean if it’s as good as damn I wouldn’t be disappointed if that’s the route he wanted to take
