i think as an overall artist his evolution has been crazy but as a producer i think he’s progressively gotten more hands-off over the years

he’s really just chopping samples at this point

There’s an old BTS clip of chad explaining the Neptunes creative process and it kinda confirmed that P was more ideas and loose sketches while Chad fleshed stuff out which makes a lot of sense
