History and Invincible had distinctive moments from Dangerous but it’s true that both albums had songs that you could clearly see the NJS influence.

Tho tbf in a way that whole y2k britney nsync etc teen pop explosion sorta co opted that new jack swing sound, and mj was clearly a fan of all those artists around that time so maybe it’s a good thing he stuck it out
