I personally don’t think he was a great artist outside of a handful of songs. I do think he was developing however and if he had lived and not gone to jail, he might’ve been the one to succeed Drake commercially in hip-hop. Love or hate him, it’s undeniable how much of a grip he had on that listener bracket. Those kids adored him and still do.
