SZA used to be more distinctive in the CTRL era. She was at her best mixing her alternative influences with R&B. SOS era you can tell she is very influenced by Summer which isn’t a bad thing but I do miss the ethereal mix.
The reason she bigger then Summer is because SZA found a way to tap in with white people this era and if you can get that crowd you’re set.
