It didn’t hit for me at all man. I’m glad people like Prez and ET have gotten an album they view as great out of it but I was very disappointed. Bottom of his discography for me.

FATD was an album that hit for me on the 2nd or 3rd listen. which is a good thing (better than an album where the first listen is the best listen, which is how i would describe Utopia).

the album i always point to as the biggest grower for me is TPAB where i felt like my enjoyment of it didnt reach max until listen 12 or 15

recovery is another album where i think first listen was best listen

but relapse was a grower

Every new Drake album just goes into the middle of his discography for me. I enjoy listening to it but wouldn’t call any of it top tier drake outside of certain tracks

I’m not trying be negative. I really liked HN and Her Loss and CLB has grown on me over the years despite its obvious lows. Idk maybe FATD will do the same. But even on first listen for CLB, there were tracks that blew me away like Champagne Poetry, N 2 Deep and Pipe Down.
