Difference is CLB was worked on for 2 years and those songs were developed over a longer period of time. He sat with those songs.

FATD was mostly made in a few months when he was touring.

I think the best of DLDT mixed with the best of CLB would’ve resulted in an undeniable classic.

CLB is good though. It’s going to age better then Scorpion has and FATD.

2 different methods of working on music. Drake prefers consistency in releases and Kendrick prefers sitting with a body of work and really living with the concept over time, dropping less.

Although to be fair, I do think he’s going to start dropping more consistently again. Almost positive he dropping next year. He dropped TPAB, UU, DAMN and BP all within 4 years.
