And they've done some damage too. But at the end of the day, hes just too iconic and the majority of people are able to overlook the allegations because the music is just that amazing. Imagine not listening to Rock With You because some weirdos wrote and spoke a*** fanfiction on HBO? Almost nobody is doing that fr even if they aren't in favor of MJ.

Gaga just felt guilty about having such a sexually provocative song with him knowing damn well what hes done and choosing to ignore it. Removing the song didnt really do anything in general but it eased her consciousness. Its like when Family Guy got a black voice actor to voice Cleveland after the BLM protests. Like it didnt do anything to help in the grad scheme of things aside from make Seth feel better about contributing something to the movement.

He's the most famous man of all time aside from Jesus.
The higher ups were terrified of the power he had with The beatles catalog and what he could've done for the black community with that power and dedicated the rest of Michaels life to tearing him down.
Alot of people forget MJ wasn't always a villain in the media. He was a media and critic darling during the OTW era and Thriller era. It wasn't until he became the biggest artist in the world and bought The Beatles catalog that they decided he was too powerful. Thats when all the tabloid junk started during the Bad era.

The Beatles are probably the only artists in recent music history to be close to MJ's popularity. Theres a reason MJ looked up to them and idolized Paul. He WANTED that success in the early 80s. That was his target and goal.
