did u know this album for years was only available with the dream factory boxset

KOD could’ve been a really interesting album mixing the conscious concept with hard ass 808s and southern trap production but the album just ended up sounding like typical J. Cole. S*** sounded flat as f***.

Off Season was pretty good for sure

J. Cole when he’s not trying be Kendrick with the concept albums and he’s just going off is the ideal version of him. He’s so good when he’s just treating it like drills.

the thing i love about cole is most rappers regress lyrically this late in their careers & cole has gotten exponentially better

i cannot appreciate j cole when drake, kanye, kendrick are active

His first couple singles were special

He was a product of his era. Fun to listen to, but not anything really outstanding.
