If you’re looking for an exaggerated effect like 808s Ye and T-Pain, the best thing to do is sing it poorly to achieve that effect.

The thing is though. Autotune as a plug-in has evolved so much over the years from the early 2000s. It’s gotten a lot smoother and thus harder to achieve the same robotic sound in the studio.

I think it truly just depends on the album.

My preferred length is 10-13 tracks but I’ve heard 16+ albums that I thought were great too.
