i also think the sudden switch to strictly instrumental tracks kinda caught me off guard, didnt know thats what the album was gonna be

idt they were bad or anything i just didn’t love it on a first time listen like i did the a side of the album

For me I had the same reaction but it actually made me more Interested in understanding the album so I went back over and over.

More rewarding than something I’m able to plainly say was good or bad after one listen

Almost missed it

Nothing about this album has stood out to me that makes it very great now

Purrp says it was heavily influential which like it could be idk

But there's nothing crazy to latch on to listening to it after hearing the stuff it influenced already

The songs were pretty directionless with some cool sounds in the first half and the back half has been occasionally entertaining but mostly boring bland ambient stuff
