It was a different grind back then. You have to do all that just to stay afloat but quality control was tighter, even if it was mixtape related.

I don't listen to him enough but i respect him,I use to think Kodak Black was a good workhorse too. Some rappers just got "it" man,some dudes just ill,Curren$y can make a song about throwing loose leaf paper on the ground and make it nice lol

Yeah Kodak actually is a great one too. Didnt think of him off rip but he is one of my favorite artists that debuted in the 10s

no. never again. terrible vocal performances by robert, what the actual f*** is this screeching s*** he’s doing on every song? b**** no. guitars sound absolutely terrible. overproduced 2 hell. not even worth discussing the lyrics because everything else is so bad. just no.

Producers were better,more hungry,rappers were hungry,yep the grind was different. Hip Hop exploitative as f*** now,these guys/ girls will do anything for a dollar,caue thats how the game setup now.
