I think Let’s Dance had the higher highs with Modern Love and China Girl but so far I think Midnight is an overall better album.

idk what the japanese version is but theres also a reworked 2018 version thats supposed to be better. i was gonna peep the og first though

I agree I think we were expecting complete ass but this is more consistent than Let’s Dance which is top heavy

I honestly think what holds this album back is how 80s it sounds with the drums

Cuz a lot of it does sound really dated but I can look past some of it.

maybe they have a taste for terrible 80s white reggae attempts with too much marimba
