it doesn’t deliver what the typical Bowie fan probably enjoys about his music specifically, so i understand why its ranked so poorly

but in a vacuum, its a solid album. it has loads of charm, and would probably be received better had bowie’s career continued moreso in that direction.

theres like 45minutes worth of material i think. some of it before he started going by the name david bowie. the s/t was a pivot away from rock for him
he debuted in mid-1964 with this

this one is the best i think. cant say any of this stuff is that good or original at all tho
