my fav projects of his are the ones that strike at a certain facet of americana, bringing you into a world and corrupting it like a poisonamongst his other works it's probably a bit underrated but i think most lynch fans have it solidly top 5
i really appreciate it though, feels like the groundwork being laid for his next 2 decades in the film and tv space
It definitely feels underrated but I agree. It feels like it was him before he got (I say this politely) too far up his own ass
The balance is key but once directors get to a certain point they just do whatever they want which fine too
