Radiohead wasn’t chosen first because of you. It was chosen first because it was naturally brought up one day and decided by the people who are actually listening to these albums every day and discussing them. The only objections seem to come from those who aren’t partaking as heavily
Me, you, OP and Purrp are on the same page about basically everything, even if we give you a hard time sometimes lol.
And while that make sound like we’re gatekeeping or excluding people, we aren’t. Everyone has been allowed to join the group listenings the whole time. But a lot of them spent their time complaining and s***ting on Bowie instead of listening and being constructive with the criticisms.
I think the idea of polling for which artist discog dive we do is a smart move that ensures we gather input from all the active users.

There were times when I didn’t wanna see the completely unnecessary hater energy related to a artist i love and it certainly wouldn’t make me wanna @ you to join but also nothing was stopping you from listening to the music

Here’s an idea:
We do Radiohead, and whoever sits though that discography with us gets a say in the discography we do after.
If they can actually commit to an artist that isn’t their favorite, then I totally agree.
Otherwise, it’s just one particular users flavor of the week.

Its kind of complicated tbh
Maybe someone wanted to engage but just already knows they dont f*** with Bowie so why listen to 25 albums of him and be negative?
I think a middle ground is best, i want to participate on the music sessions but i just didnt want to listen to Bowie u know
