Fax My Brother@nort peeped the smile’s first album
It was a lil hard to get into at first, the music was good but I couldn’t shake the idea that it wasn’t Radiohead but once I got to Pana-Vision I understood the vision (pun intended)
I’d give it like a solid 7.5 maybe an 8, I love the drums and strings on this, the beep boops are beeping and booping as usual and it’s incredible how well thom’s voice has held up what 30 years into his career now? Hasn’t changed a bit.
Fav songs: Panavision, The Smoke, Open the Floodgates, Free in the Knowledge, A hairdryer, Skrting on the surface
On 2nd thought this album def an 8

Glad you enjoyed it. We just finished up a group listen in here for it just a couple hours ago. I also give it an 8. Thom’s voice is fantastic and I adore the guitar and bass melodies he cooked up throughout the album.
