Me as well. I was in my room crying for days. Thank god I still have my Michael Jackson memorabilia. If you wasn't alive when he was here you can't understand how legendary he is. It's feel weird looking at old footage and knowing he doesn't exist anymore.

I was actually watching Jonas tv show on Disney I was on my computer and the news of it popped up. I believe I saw it on TMZ first and then I turned on CNN. My mother mentioned him being in a coma and I told her he died already. I had a feeling he died way. Before. I could feel it

I do remember seeing the CNN report though outside the hospital with the caption Michael Jackson Dead at 50

Yep. I was coming back from my Grandparents in the car and my parents told me about it. I didn’t really feel the weight of the loss until shortly after when I got home and saw VH1 and BET playing nonstop MJ videos all day for a month.

Only celeb deaths to rattle me was Prince and Kobe, nothing else has ever done much for me yet

all I can remember from 09 were all the MJ tributes on TV and the VMAs were meant to be the big celebration of his life but kanye did the taylor s*** 5 minutes into the show
