It’s an entirely performative measure that never achieves anything. Look at the Bud Light boycott, which is one of the surprisingly more successful ones. They basically had a 7% decrease in share price for like 2 months due to low sales and now their shares are worth more than ever. And they didn’t do anything one way or another.
