There’s a lot of reasons. The main one is that Paul was pretty condensending towards him in every aspect especially when it came to his own songs. John was too, but George idolized John, he saw him as “the leader” whereas Paul to him was an equal. I think Paul taking over creative direction from John after Rubber Soul was what really built the resentment up in George. He didn’t see Paul as a leader, just being bossy.
