I feel like the one key thing that is gonna help u is ur goal and if u are actually gonna use it
If u are learning but it wont affect ur day to day life, not only its gonna be a lot more difficult, u wont get the "real practice" and will forget it faster

Basically that he knows Spanish but he’s frustrated bc still not as well as he thought he did after watching a movie in Spanish and hearing some natives speaking in an accent he never heard so he legit didn’t know they were speaking Spanish
