His album isn’t Confessions level obviously but it’s like some people were expecting some experimental dark masterpiece from him when that’s never what they were gonna get. It’s ok to still make traditional R&B.

He delivered on maybe 4 songs. But as a full album no it isn't good. But his albums have been spotty for years now. I just can't expect him to make that fire album anymore.

People are expecting quality. He has been having this problem for a while now. You can always find gems on his album. Sadly as a full body of work he lost some of his magic.

@nort Still not a fan of the Yee Haw bar song but 16 Carriages is a really beautiful song, so she gets a W in my book for that.

I expecting more songs in the same vein as ‘GLU’, it’s the more pop-adjacent songs that miss on me.
