Paul, Ringo, Olivia (George’s Widow) and Yoko have to all clear it or it can’t be cleared.
Olivia and Ringo don’t like rap and have shot down Beatles samples multiple times. If it was up to Paul and Yoko, we’d see a lot more Beatles samples in music.
Wu-Tang one of the only groups who got to sample the Beatles and that’s because George’s son Dani is a Wu-Tang Stan and went to bat for them.
