it’s so awkward. i’m surprised a string instrument of this fashion ever took off. The inventor was just in his room, sounding like absolute dogshit for 30+ years until eventually he was able to play something halfway decent.

I’m half Puerto Rican and I can’t speak Spanish. I went to PR and I was like super dissatisfied bc Ik I would have liked it so much more if I could engage fully

Then I met a girl who was Cuban which made me wanna learn more.

Now I just think it would be cool to speak Spanish, if this goes well I think I wanna learn a third language bc now I just think it’s cool to learn languages
