If you’re including cultural things and customs ofc they’re different but we can then make the argument of how much bc the Silk Road was a way of connection ideas, cultures, customs etc and our modern understandings and ideas of these places (for us looking in and those living there) are heavily influenced by the mix of those things in these places.
