there isn't a period of history i'd visit quicker than the mid 1950s as a celebrity/public figure
something about it seems massively magical and it isn't nostalgia talking either because obviously i wasn't around for it. I think the post war optimism and relief/joy people felt showed in everything they did hence the bright colors and happy ending films
