plus western/cowboy aesthetic doesnt have to be exclusively country anyway, its also just a texas thing like people mentioned. i can see the album having a mix of country, folk, pop with maybe some r&b and rock too

I think it’s gonna be really really divisive actually
If its like 16 Carriages and its more of a fusion of Country and other genres I might be able to stomach it and come to appreciate most of it.
If its like Texas Hold Em where she goes all in with the Country s*** and cosplays as a regular down and out person who frequents the country bars on the weekend, I'm going to f***ing HATE IT.
