Meme aside you can trace it all back to the fact beyonce is a brand and doesn't feel like a real person, no one would believe she's ever had legitimate hardship in her life because she's always been connected, an industry and critic darling, filthy rich, a media manipulator, gassed up

compare that to someone like MJ since he's coming up now. Abusive father and regularly beaten and bullied by his own family, suffers a skin condition at the PEAK of his power and at a time when MTV and image was more important than the music, the allegations and constant jokes from the media and contemporaries, the body dysmorphia DUE to the childhood.
