We talk from time to time and she got a bad case of COVID recently with a compromised immune system, so I’ve been thinking about her more then usual these days. Just to get hit with this on Sunday evening.
I would be lying if I didn’t say I missed her and wish I could just be with her instead of struggling out here in this rancid dating scene. But knowing she’s now taken by someone else while I’ve been officially left behind is an awful feeling. I want her to be happy but I just miss the security and comfort I had when I was with her.
That’s tough.
