I think you have to put historic moments like in context like if the time they released
At the time repeatedly calling Jay Z gay was pretty embarrassing and a way to humiliate Jay Z which is the point Of a diss record
You can't look at it and judge it based on how it would be perceived if it was new
As a diss record it did it's thing
