On your last point about legacy acts I see it as an extension of society more and more being unable let go of the past. You see it in nostalgia for certain decades (currently the 80’s maybe shifting into the 90’s soon), grown men taking comic book movies and fandom deadly serious etc etc.

If I was old as s*** and had a chance to “see” prime era Sinatra or idk the stones again I can’t say it wouldn’t be tempting but given my outlook on stuff as myself, born when I was, I don’t really support it at this time. If I was that old/from that gen I don’t know if my opinions would be what they are now
