Bowie has one bad album post 90’s. Everything else in that era is good - masterpiece level

Jay Z the more I listen to him is the quintessential rapper. Had biggie lived I think I would be saying this about him but Jay has out of the box flows, rhyme schemes, charisma, cool beats etc

He may have some lows but just as a pure rapper he is top 5 and I say that as someone who hated Jay z for a long time

well, you know how i felt about his 90’s output, so Im just gonna have to disagree with ya there.

My overall point is that artists change over time and if you think a certain time period of their career makes sense to include in a time period makes sense to me.
