save me’s review of tidal by fiona apple

so i am absolutely floored by how amazing this album is. but b4 i get 2 the album i just wanna say wow she is absolutely gorgeous, like my god how could a woman be so pretty

anyway, i am a fan. i don’t know why it took me this long 2 really get in2 her music but better late than never. her voice is mesmerizing.. it’s not the most technical but the way she conveys emotions is impeccable. the music is amazing, the hints of r&b on a few songs was amazing & i’m hoping as i progress thru her discography that she explores that sound a bit more. & last but not least the songwriting is unbelievable. the fact that she wrote these songs as a teenager is just a testament 2 how amazing she is. i am a FAN. i love her.

shadowboxer - getting hints of amy winehouse back 2 black with this 1, this song absolutely blew me away. i love everything about this song.. definitely gonna have a drink 2 this song later 10/10

the 1st taste - absolutely perfect - 10/10

slow like honey - what a f***ing beautiful song.. her voice is so hypnotizing i can’t get over it omg - 10/10

i hated the hot mulligan album anyway it was very bad

horrible singing, way 2 much screaming, derivative as all hell, the song writing was juvenile & the guitar playing was extremely lackluster

i have revised my score & am now giving it a 1/10
