He just isn’t much of an entertainer. I just finished listening to ‘Still Dreaming’, right. Kanye’s verse has so much personality, he’s keeping it interesting with his flows, tonally he’s bouncing around from being funny, to serious, to introspective, etc. Then you get to Nas and both his second and third verse is more or less the same flow and tone. They’re good, dont get me wrong, but he seemingly only wants to operate within this small box he made for himself. Wish he would bring some more flavor from time to time.
