A UK user not liking Amy Winehouse probably due to being overplayed over there really ignited a blood feud
it’s not even about him not liking her, it’s the way he talks about her. any1 that talks that way about the dead is a god awful human being.
nigga be talkin bout her like she f***ed his dad or something, s*** is f***ing weirdo behavior, jus say u hate her music & keep it moving
I’m team XXX tbh, much more interesting and varied music to me, more experimental and more genre exploration which are usually my favorite characteristics about an artist
Honestly X and Juice even tho they were on that "same wave" their styles arent that comparable
I like Juice way way more than xxx but i think Xxx more minimalistic style made for better songs to heart than Juice
Also Juice has so much fire in the vault that only the fans have that i think there is a disconnect when talking bout Juice depending of how much of a fan u were
at least this started a discussion i suppose

i still stand on what i said about juice being the best freestyler ever, dude was some sort of savant with the s*** it was really insane 2 watch his mind work so fast.. but like REALLY freestyling
truly a detrimental loss

My feelings for X are complicated. On one hand, its hard for me to deny that X did some terrible s*** in his lifetime and that makes it harder for me to focus strictly on his artistic achievement.
Unfortunately even though 17 holds a special place in my heart, I will say a lot of X's music was rudimentary. Juice's was much more developed and had better structure. But I also think X was murdered so early in his career that assuming he didn't go to prison, he would've developed into one of the most compelling artists of the generation. He had the talent, it just never quite panned out though musically.
Losing X and Juice hurt the genre so badly. Those 2 were gonna carry the flag for the younger generation moving forward and losing them has made things stagnant a bit. For now the kids got Yeat/Carti inspired music and generic drill.
If I’m being honest though I’m taking Pop over both of them

s***s crazy man the leaders of my entire generation died off
i was in HS for peep, x, juice, and mac miller’s passing man and u felt it each time

The new big 3 would've been X/Juice/Pop imo. But with all of them being dead, we still fixated on last decades big 3
Drake/Cole/Kendrick

This is so interesting to me
I don't value genre exploration at all
If they do a good job I'm not mad at it
But I don't like care and give them extra credit for doing it

Mac is separate from the other 3 because even though he died right as he was entering his creative prime, he still got to have a good few years and tons of released/unreleased music. Cant deny what he brought to the table.
Peep/X/Juice all died before they got to their creative primes.
This doesn’t do it for you? It seems like something you’d like
No
I also think losing X and Juice is what ruined Ski Masks career. I just think the trauma and grief creatively stagnated him and he lost his interest in pushing the envelope.
Cuz he was dropping some really interesting s*** from 2017-2018.
what about this?
!https://youtu.be/cnNfYsfyiMci remember i liked this album way more than the ? one

ski was my fav artist there 4 a while man, i genuinely feel absolutely terrible 4 him.. losing 2 of ur best friends like that would shatter any1’s soul
i still have faith he will make a comeback, he’s 2 talented not 2
