yeah Another Green World is a legit magical masterpiece and in my top albums ever basically

Taking Tiger Mountain also firmly a part of that and isnt to be slept on even though its my 3rd/4th favorite. its the weirdest in a way

first 2 Roxy Music albums that have Eno in the band are also really great even though he's not the main guy. its really cool to see where he came from originally

i agree

even though I think he's a truly great artist. just not one of the absolute all time top tier category. one of the goat solo rock artists yeah, one of the goats of his time yeah, but doesnt quite reach the overall peak for me

amazing catalog across decades with multiple masterpieces and great albums, i think he's basically as good as it can get without being an overall GOAT

and yeah the fact that he wasnt the primary/only factor in some of his best stuff would make me hold his personal talent in lower regard than someone like Prince. dont think theres anything wrong with that though, there are different types of art and I prefer to consider the art itself and not so much whose idea was what

saw a video about old ass poems written in mandarin

that's real asf though, both languages have an insane amount of classic literature
