Would’ve been a beautiful singing album like he originally intended and a nice mirror to how depressing 808s was.
Instead we got some really subpar rapping.

It gets a little preachy and obnoxious at times, but he does rap his ass off on some of it like How Great with Jay Electronica and there’s fun s*** on it like No Problem, Mixtape and All Night. But I can see why people look back on it with distain now. It’s a step down from Acid Rap and he had one of the corniest personas in rap ever and people ATE it up.
The Big Day was destiny.
