It doesn’t really sound specifically like any Mac album before it. It has elements of WMWTSO and Faces, but it’s distinctive on its own.

Wrong personStory above all had to be interesting and as RVI said, Americans don’t give af about Robbie’s story like they did with Queen and Elton John.
Pharrells movie flopped as well but the budget was way way smaller and it’s been doing well on demand.
honestly i cant even see that idea working better with another person. I think that movie was as good as a CGI monkey music biopic could have possibly been, and Robbie actually fit the monkey character better than i could imagine any other star. it was genuinely well done. still a 5/10 for me because its a f***ing CGI monkey biopic
if it was poorly or even averagely done it would have legit been one of the worst films ive ever seen

same but i also do question the 4 separate movie thing
yeah there is enough story for sure. but it would be very tricky to split up everything the right way into 4 movies to make them stand as a whole but still tell the story together
