Honestly Anuel peaked way 2 early for him to even have a chance 2 crossover like for real, he was second to BB in the 2010s but fell down off a cliff when there was a real possibility for him to do it in the 2020s (i feel the door has gotten more open nowdays)

And yes, i really think BB persona has helped him a lot. He has a really interesiting one. Eccentric, but also popular, but also mysterious leaving wanting people more from him.

And honestly Rauw persona is way more boring and also, even tho his music catchy i wouldnt even call him genre defying except for Saturno

Honestly i really think its gotta be down with just timing tbh now that i think about. Reggaeton has gotten bigger and bigger so the language barrier is feeling less important specially with how near latam is to yall. Also I feel if u put for example someone like Ozuna in their prime in 2025 he would end up crossing over so i feel thats the answer besides BB being that nigga
