If he oversteps it and infuriates the people, Democrats could take back house and Senate in the midterms and f*** up any plans in the last 2 years, which is a possibility depending on how things go in the next 2 years.

They fumble this and you won’t see a Republican President again for years. Trump is the last hope for that party. When he’s done, they’re done. A large chunk of his voters love him, not the party.

plus experience, more loyalists in place, more popular mandate because of his decisive win (doesnt matter as much because he doesnt have to run again but still).

i think its true that he wont be able to do a lot of s*** but i think its very logical to be worried that he will be able to get a lot of it done and the term will be more significant than the first in some ways

linking up with the tech oligarchs could def get sketchy too in new way. also just for tech in general we are in a different place than 8 years ago with things like big data, surveillance so an authoritarian-leaning president has more power in that respect than before

Pay attention to your local community, get actively involved if you really wanna see change. Pay attention to local government and vote accordingly. Protect your mental health and check on your loved ones and close friends. Be kind to yourself.
