there were restrictions that prevented ICE from raiding school, churches, hospitals, etc but they’ve been lifted. Doesn’t seem like they’re currently targeting schools, but they now have the option to do so.

He wants to remove birthright citizenship so he can justify deporting legal immigrants as well.

This is a pattern you can observe from any attempt of fascism in history. Once people accept or don’t outright reject their justification, they’ll push things further.

So, you can make that argument (even if I still find it morally wrong) but you’re sorta playing into their narrative by doing so.
